KARACHI, Feb 5 Displaying better skills, Neighbourhood Club beat Arambagh Club 31-21 to win the Kashmir Day Basketball tournament at the latter`s court on Thursday.

The winners led 18-10 at the half time in the final which was played for 40 minutes duration.

Raja Jehanzaib (8), Fahad (8) and Shakir (7) were outstanding for winners while Adnan and Akmal contributed 6 and 5 respectively for Arambagh, once a powerhouse of the game in the city.

Earlier, the two teams stormed into the final by winning their openers in contrasting styles.

Arambagh got the better of NED University 35-18 while Neighbourhood edged Nishtar Park Club 38-36 in a keenly contested match.
