ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari said on Friday that Pakistan greatly values its relations with China in a meeting with China’s Ambassador Liu Jian in Islamabad, DawnNews reported.

During the meeting, Pak-China relations were discussed in detail.

President Zardari observed that the Gwadar Port between the two countries would promote economic cooperation and enhance communication. He also took up the matter of his upcoming visit to China.

China’s Ambassador Liu Jian also briefed the president on the progress of the Gwadar port in the region.
