It says the LDA director general has approved the creation one post of Director (BS-19) and three of Deputy Directors (BS-18) by abolishing posts of Deputy Director (Architect) and Deputy Director (Research and Evaluation), and four posts of Assistant Director (Architect) for the new directorate.

At least 15 posts of subject specialists have also been re-designated as Assistant Director (BS-17) for posting them in the new directorate.

The Directorate of Record Management will preserve the record in a professional manner at a secure place and keep ownership details and other vital information of each property at the central place.

“It will provide a platform for digitalization of property files and minimize chances of fraudulent transaction that mostly occur due to a theft of property files,” the release said.
