The recent launch of Sabera Tapal and Farkhanda Bawany’s multi-brand store Showstopper at a popular mall in Karachi featured the collections of 21 designers including Rizwan Beyg and Shamaeel Ansari among the top tier.

During the fashion presentation, Dubai-based Mehreen Noorani Ameerzeb put forth her collection with vibrant colours and a keen sense of style for the new era. She showcased her stunning RTW collection that includes luxurious materials and accents. These include lace, chamois silk, satin, pearls, jet beading, crystals and fine embroidery.

Emerging designer Maimoona Arshad Hussain showcased her label Maimoona H which plays on extremes and opposites and embodies contrasts such as masculine and feminine, soft and severe, constructed and deconstructed. It is created for someone who wants the perfect combination of simple elegance and detailed engineering. The designer said her aim is to produce a creative yet elegant outfit which should stand out in the crowd as the bold and beautiful.

The jewellery displayed at the fashion presentation by Sabera and Saad’s S.S. Jewellery was their winter collection, Fusion, which is hand-crafted in silver with precious and semi-precious gem stones. The range of designs varied from Mughal patterns to modern designs and at affordable prices.

The hair and make-up of the models was by Nina Lotia, choreography by Moiz Kazmi and event and PR by Tehmina Khaled.
