KARACHI: Eight people were killed in incidents of violence across Karachi on Monday, DawnNews reported.

Unknown gunmen shot dead four of the victims in the city's Ayub Goth area. The area became tense after the incident and shops and other businesses were closed as a result.

Moreover, one person was killed and another was injured in an incident of firing near Karachi's Punjab Chowrangi.

In the city's Orangi Town, gunmen shot dead one person and a body of a man was recovered near Karachi's Mauripur road.

Furthermore, one person was killed in a firing incident near the Ayesha Bawany Academy which is situated on Karachi’s Shahrah-i-Faisal.
