QUETTA, Dec 4: A man was killed and his brother injured when they came under fire on Airport Road near Askari Park here on Tuesday evening.

The victims belonged to the Shia Hazara community.

Ashfaq Hussain and Altaf Hussain, a police constable, were going home on a motorcycle when they were fired upon by motorcyclists chasing them.

Both suffered injuries and Ashfaq died while being taken to hospital. Police have registered a case.
