In response to a letter titled "Schooling in Islamabad" (Nov 21), I have a few words to add.
I felt that the letter reeked of elitism. He is openly inviting the authorities to come to the rescue of the rich people from those that do not belong to the elite class.
The respectable writer presents a solution: to keep the elite class children away from the other or rather, ‘poor’ children.
It has to be said that such people including the writer are letting the affluent children breathe the same air as the other children do.
There could be restrictions on children breathing the same air.
The writer seems to be proposing isolation for the elites.
The problem that needs focus is to hold those accountable that create mischief, and not for not belonging to the elite class.
