KOHAT, Oct 18: Former Intelligence Bureau chief and leader of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Major (retd) Masood Sharif has said the present government has failed to start any mega project in the Karak district.

Addressing a public meeting at Khattak Colony on Thursday, he said the provincial minister of jails was doing politics on hand pumps and electricity poles. He said the people of Karak would not elect him in the next elections. Mr Masood said due to delay in approval of projects as a result of corruption the jobless youth were frustrated and adopting anti-social activities. He hoped that PTI would clean sweep the elections.

MEDIA COLONY: The deputy director of regional information office, Kohat division, has said a media colony for journalists will be constructed soon.

The deputy director, Zafarmand, in a statement said the government was aware of the problems of the journalists and utilising all available resources to address them. He said the provincial minister for information had promised construction of media colony in Kohat, which would become a reality soon. —Correspondent
