PESHAWAR, Aug 24: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has framed PC-I for constructing new building of the Mardan Central Prison costing Rs1,300 million.

The proposal has been placed before the planning and development department for further action.

According to a statement issued from home and tribal affairs department here on Friday the provincial government is not only taking solid steps to beef up security of jails across the province but also taking measures to construct new jails and repair the existing prison buildings which are in dilapidated condition.—Bureau Report
