ISLAMABAD: There is no harm in criticising the court's decision in a lighter, decent way and the court must not punish people on the allegation of mere staring to judges, said Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday.
Speaking to media representatives outside the Parliament House, the counsel to the former PM Gilani said that lighter criticism to judiciary in a decent way must be given immunity from contempt of court.
Moreover, expressing reservations over the newly amended contempt of court law, Ahsan said, he was not consulted on the issue and he came to know about the bill through media reports.
