KARACHI: Karachi once again witnessed deteriorating law and order situation  as the series of targeted killings continued and seven people lost their lives whereas many others were injured on Tuesday, DawnNews reported.

Ex-counselor Anwar Alam alias 'babu bhai' associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was shot dead in Usman play ground in the area of  PECHS block 2. The business in the area was shut down after the incident.

A man named Mehdi Raza was shot dead in the area of Nazimabad No.2. He was resident of North Karachi.

A dead body was found from Memon graveyard in Malir cantt. The person was identified as Azhar.

Another dead body was found from super highway near Sohrab Goth. The man was identified as Kamran Ali. Another dead body was found from Malir Bakra piri.

The police officials told that they were kidnapped and were shot dead by unknown people.

Two dead bodies were found from Korangi sector 51-C near Ibrahim Hyderi.

A person was shot dead in the area of New Karachi.

In similar violent incidents in the city, four people were wounded including the registrar of Dawood Engineering College and his son.
