LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday said the United States should have taken Pakistan in confidence over announcing a bounty on Jamaat-ud-Dawaa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives at the residence of MNA Afzal Khokar, he suggested that all outstanding issues should be discussed with India. “Cricket teams of both the countries should visit each other,” he added.

Commenting on wide range of issues, the PML-N chief said that the decision over resumption of Nato supplies must be in accord with will of people of the country.

The party chief assailed the government over ongoing confrontation with the judiciary. “Government has been engaged in a ‘war’ with the apex court,” he added.

Sharif claimed that the PPP-led government was overcoming current fiscal debt by printing more currency notes.

The PML-N chief hoped for positive outcomes of the ongoing Energy Conference in Lahore.
