KARACHI: Himayat Ali Shair’s wife passes away

KARACHI, Nov 22: Wife of poet Himayat Ali Shair died in Canada on Friday. She will be buried in Canada, family sources said.

She was also the mother of Commander Roshan Khayal of the ISPR (Navy), Karachi, and Auj-i-Kamal, the editor of Duniya-i-Adab, a literary magazine.

She had gone to Toronto for treatment of a liver disease where her two sons live.

Soyem will be held here on Sunday after Zuhr prayers in Jamia Masjid, Taj Centre, Shah Faisal Colony.

Arrangements for ladies have been made at her residence: C-B 45, Al-Falah Society, Shah Faisal Colony. — APP
