PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reportedly decided to challenge the release on bail of US national Aaron Mark De Haven in the Peshawar High Court (PHC), DawnNews reported.
Government sources said an application had been prepared to challenge the American national’s release.
The government was likely to challenge the bail decision in the PHC in three days’ time.
De Haven was released after being granted bail by additional district and sessions judge Altaf-ur-Rehman on March 7.
He was, however, ordered not to leave the area without informing the police until his case was concluded.
De Haven was said to have been working for a private security company and was detained after he outstayed his Pakistani visa.
He was arrested last month from a residential area in Peshawar.
