Shootings, accidents leave three dead, four injured

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three people were killed and four others injured in separate shootings and road accidents in Dera Murad Jamali, Jhal Magsi and Dera Bugti areas of Balochistan.

According to police, armed men opened fire on a water tanker tractor near the Doli check post in the limits of Sui police station in Dera Bugti.

As a result, the driver, Lola Bugti, was killed on the spot, while Hidayat sustained injuries. The attackers managed to escape.

In another incident, a truck overturned at Goth Mir Jat within the jurisdiction of Gandawah police station near Jhal Magsi, killing the driver, Abdul Ghani Mir Jat.

Two others were injured in the accident.

Meanwhile, in Dera Murad Jamali, a man identified as Rafiq killed himself in Goth Panah neighbourhood of Manjho Shori area.

He shot himself with a pistol due to domestic issues.

Also in Dera Murad Jamali, Rais Muhammad, son of Hazar Khan Solangi, was critically injured in a traffic accident on Landhi-Gandawah Road within the jurisdiction of Notal police station.

He was shifted to Dera Murad Jamali Teaching Hospital.
