DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Six members of a family were killed and another was injured when a car they were travelling in collided with a bus near Pasha Pull on the Dera-Bannu Road here on Monday.

Police said that Dr Naseem Kundi, a heart specialist in Dera hospital, was going in the car to his hometown along with his wife, two children, mother and two sisters, when a bus going in the opposite direction smashed the car.

As a result of the accident, Dr Naseem Kundi, wife Aiman Bibi, two minor children, Musa and Esa, his mother and sister namely Zaitoon were killed on the spot. Another sister of Dr Kundi, namely Kalsoom, was seriously injured.

The police and the rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies and the injured woman to hospital. The police registered the case and started further investigations.
