KARACHI: A young man was killed in Quaidabad on Saturday, police said.

They said that Mustaqeem Shah, 22, was stabbed allegedly by his neighbour, Arshad alias Pappu, near Mohammadi Masjid in Sherpao Colony over some personal dispute.

The suspect managed to escape from the crime scene.

Shah was critically hurt and was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead. The police said that the suspect was an Afghan national.

Relatives of the victim told the police that they would get an FIR registered after burial.
