PESHAWAR: Federal Defence Minister Pervez Khattak has said that Pakistan has become self-sufficient in defence production and captured the international market.

Talking to mediapersons in Nowshera after his return from Dubai, he said that participation of Pakistan in Dubai Defence Expo proved that the country had excelled in defence production, according to an official statement issued here on Wednesday.

The minister said that representatives of the participating countries in the defence expo showed interest in the Pakistan pavilion and appreciated its products.

He said that participation of Pakistan in the Dubai expo proved that the country had strong defence.

Responding to a question, he said that Pakistan was least bothered about the belligerent and threatening posture of India, adding that the nation would give a matching response to any aggression from the Indian side.

He asked India to stop state terrorism in the held Kashmir. He said that action of the Indian forces against innocent civilians in the occupied territory had exposed New Delhi’s designs.

He said that resolution of Kashmir dispute was part and parcel of Pakistan-India relations and asked the Indian government to give right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.
