LAHORE: Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will hear cases at the Supreme Court registry of Lahore on Saturday and Sunday.

A special bench comprising the chief justice and Justice Ijazul Ahsan will take up multiple public interest cases during the two-day sitting. The cases include condition of government hospitals in Lahore, matter regarding first paediatric liver transplant surgery at PKLI and a suo motu against illegal occupation of land by PML-N MNA Afzal Khokhar, MPA Saiful Malook Khokhar and Shafi Khokhar.

A report will be submitted by the Anti-Corruption Establishment on investigation against the Khokhar brothers.

BILAWAL: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address members of the Lahore High Court Bar Association on Saturday (today).

Mr Bilawal is visiting the bar on an invitation of the Peoples Lawyers Forum. He will also cut a cake to celebrate birthday of his grandfather, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
