LAHORE: A special bench comprising Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Ijazul Ahsan will hear multiple public interest cases today (Saturday) at the SC Lahore registry.

The cases include the condition of public sector hospitals in Punjab, overcharging and lack of facilities at private hospitals, and functioning of patwaris, kanungos and tehsildars in urban areas of Lahore.

The bench will also hear an LDA application seeking permission for procurement and transfer of remaining land for the LDA-City housing scheme by private developers.
