ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Judge met with an accident on Friday when his car rammed into another vehicle from behind on Kashmir Highway, sources told Dawn. Though nobody was injured, both vehicles were damaged.

Sabzi Mandi police SHO SI Tariq Rauf told Dawn that Supreme Court (SC) Judge Justice Sardar Tariq Masood was travelling in his chauffeured-driven car.

When his driver reached G-11 signal, he crashed the car into another vehicle. Three other vehicles travelling behind the judge’s car also rammed into each other, the SI added.

The police said usually on weekends the flow of traffic on Kashmir Highway is high.

The Sabzi Mandi police said the matter was brought to their knowledge, but so far no legal action was taken against any one.
