KARACHI: The sky over the city remained mostly cloudy and sea breeze continued to blow, pulling the daytime temperatures down, said a Meteorological department official, forecasting similar weather conditions for Tuesday.

Responding to Dawn’s queries, the official said that traces of rain were also reported in different parts of the metropolis at different times on Monday.

He said the maximum temperature recorded in the city on Monday was 30.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 26.5 degrees.

He said that as humid sea breeze entered the city throughout the day with the sun playing hide-and-seek through the clouds, humidity was recorded at 81 per cent in the morning and 70pc in the evening.

He said the weather in the metropolis on Tuesday was expected to remain partly cloudy/cloudy with chances of drizzle and light rain and the maximum temperature was expected to range between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius.
