Last-minute exam tips

This is with reference to the article “Last-minute exam tips” by Kamal Ahmed Qureshi (YW, March 10). I really appreciate the way writer explained the tips to follow on exam days. As most of the students feel tensed about exams, this article can prove quite helpful to them in doing better and giving their best.

Furthermore, I want to add that if we organise our studies and focus from the very start, we will not face any hardship during exams.

Never give up

This is with reference to the story “Never give up” by Farwah Tabassum (YW, March 10).

The story was very motivational as it taught me how to deal with challenges. Being reckless is not a good habit, but having the skill to face problems is what makes one progress.

This story gave me the lesson that never think of something as impossible but think of how it can be done.

The story, “Never give up” by Farwah Tabassum clarifies that hard times always lead to the greatest achievements. There are two ways of doing things, either you make progress or you make excuses. It totally depends on you, which one you prefer.

In my opinion, we should not lose hope. We should make progress in life and explore ourselves. Failure is a phase of life, which everyone has to come across. Real failure is that when we stop trying.

Teaching in our society

Teaching is the most respectable profession throughout the world. Unfortunately, it is not the case in Pakistan and there are many reasons behind it. For instance, in rural or underdeveloped areas, teachers are not selected on merit, but on the bases of favouritism or bribe.

In such cases, how can students get education under an uneducated teacher? The government of Pakistan should take note of this and give jobs to only the deserving candidates so that our nation prospers in every field.

Last-minute exam tips

This is with reference to the cover story “Last minute exam tips” by Kamal Ahmed Qureshi (YW, March 10).

The writer very well-explained the key points to keep in mind before an exam. If followed, the tips could prove to be very helpful and make studies and preparations very easy for students.
