SHEIKHUPURA: Four siblings were killed while their two-year-old sister and mother were injured after the roof of their house collapsed in Bhore village on Shahkot-Safdarabad road in Nankana district on Tuesday.

Waheed, 17, Awais, 11, Noorul Asifa, 10, Sharjeel, 6, Sahar, 2, and their mother, Rehana, were asleep in a room of their house whose roof was in a dilapidated condition. The roof collapsed and all the six family members were buried under its debris.

The neighbours, after hearing the bang, rushed to the scene and pulled out all of them from the rubble.

Waheed, Awais, Noorul Asifa and Sharjeel were found dead while their mother and Sahar sustained critical injuries. The injured were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Shahkot.
