PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, while addressing a political gathering in Mansehra on Saturday, accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and PTI chief Imran Khan of being involved in widespread corruption in the province.
"Whenever you take up the stage, you tell the people a new lie," he said, referring to Imran Khan repeatedly as "Naya Khan Sahab".
"Your own ministers are alleging that Imran Khan's kitchen and Jehangir Tareen's plane operate [financially] on KP's contracts," Bilawal said, accusing the KP government of financial corruption.
Criticising Imran Khan for closing down the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Cancer Programme initiated by the PPP government, Bilawal said: "Name it after Shaukat Khanum if you have an objection on its name. This was a programme for those who cannot find a place in your [cancer] hospital."
Dismissing the impression that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had a role to play in ending extremism, he said: "It was you [Imran Khan] who gave millions to their [Taliban's] madrassah from education's budget."
"Have you ever spoken against terrorists?" he asked Khan. "You are scared of even condemning them."
"Do you think the nation has forgotten that it was you who offered the Taliban to open an office [in Pakistan]?"
"Khan Sahab, 2018 will be my first and your last election," he claimed.
The PPP chairman strongly criticised Nawaz Sharif's recent rally on the Grand Trunk Road. "You can be a conspirator, you can be mischievous but you cannot be a revolutionary."
"Nawaz Sharif is talking about destroying institutions to protect himself," he said, adding that Sharif only looked towards the parliament when he got in trouble.
Reminding the people of Mansehra and Hazara in general of PPP's efforts for the betterment of the region, Bilawal asked the people to vote for the PPP in 2018 elections, promising to not let them down.
He promised employment for the young, equal opportunities for women and a progressive Pakistan if PPP is led into power by the people.
The PPP chairman's visit to Mansehra is a part of his mass contact campaign ahead of the 2018 general elections. The PPP would not lend the Sharifs a supportive shoulder, he had said in Chiniot last week.
Senior PPP leaders, Sherry Rehman, Nayyar Bukhari and Faisal Karim were also accompanying the party chairman on the occasion.

Dear Bilawal, I have no knowledge of corruption in KPK but one thing is clear my right of hiring for a job was violated in KPK govt,I have 100% evidences against that hiring, they asked me in an interview that although you have got 2nd position in all over test, but since you no reference of political personnel sorry۔۔

Bilawal Bhutto is Rahul Gandhi of Pakistan. They both know nothing, do nothing but go on finding faults with their competitors. Little they realize that masses do not like this type of politics. They should do something creative. In India, Congress Party is sinking day by day; the same may happen to PPP at the hustings next time in Pakistan.

Bilawal "bhutto" has no clue about anything. Just reads the script papa dearest gives him. Look at the state of Sindh after 9 yrs of PPP. Karachi ranked one of the worst cities to live in. Zardari family has no shame. accusing others of corruption. Imran khan has atleast built hospitals in Pakistan, saved lives. PPP is a corrupt entity and unfortunately us Sindhis have only ourselves to blame for keeping them in power.

what about Sindh. Went to Mithi, Islamkot, Nagarparkar and the poverty, malnutrition, lack of health care, food was all I saw. Before you talk about corruption in other provinces, look a little bit closer and there is more.

@Muhammad - if what you say is true, then I suggest you present evidence to Imran Khan along with names of the people who interviewed you, where the interview was held and, informed you about the political reference that you mentioned. It could be an isolated case, but, as a matter of principle, you should pursue further and report to IK.

Please no schooling us on corruption, no pointing fingers, your dad himself is in the middle of cases of corruption against him and your late mother(May you rest in peace) Your party has not lead by any example for anyone to follow and to be proud of, most all the leaders from your last government has had cases of corruption against them, and you talk about others of corruption, look around your own party, look at your own home, how did you manage to buy such expensive property when you haven't worked a day in your life.

@Muhammad In Sindh, you dont get called for interview, and the entrance exams for the selected candidates is held at home. Lists come from Faryal Talpur on whom to gift Gov positions. I know it must have been tough to fail at the last stage due to zero political ground, exact same thing happened to me in Lahore.

This evil way will haunt these parties because the people of Pakistan have suffered alot of blackmail. Instead of talking about new reforms to solve problems, Their accusing the good people like PTI Imran Khan of doing wrong. Has any of these evil leaders opened a new Hospital, University or Buissness chain to create jobs with their own stolen money? No. Imran Khan achieved that without being a Prime Minister.

I do not know what political expediency compelled Imran Khan to give millions of rupees to madrassahs in KPK, however, I like to believe that his struggle against corruption needs the support of the general public. Nevertheless, your criticism that by giving money to madrassahs Imran Khan has undermined his credibility in his fight against extremist merits recognition.
