Encroachment

Published August 18, 2017

SOME of our influential neighbours in the village of Dittal Abro are trying to occupy the road through illegal encroachment in the form of bathrooms and shops. The road is public, not private property. The congestion caused by these illegal encroachments has created a menace for the villagers and everyone else who travels on this road.

Due to the influence of the village’s wadera, we villagers are afraid of lodging a complaint at the deputy commissioner’s office. The wadera has allowed influential neighbours to construct bathrooms and shops in violation of the law.

On behalf of the villagers of Dittal Abro, I request the higher authorities to intervene to put an end to this harassment, halt further illegal construction and initiate legal action against those who have encroached on the road.
