The casualties occurred in Kotli district after Indian shelling began at about 3:30pm, according to local officials.

Abdul Wahab was hit by splinters of a mortar shell when he was coming to his Dothilla village, police official Khurshid Ahmed told Dawn. The 22-year old man died on the spot, he added.
