SHIKARPUR: Three minor children, two sisters and a male relative, drowned in a fish pond in Abad Kehar village within the jurisdiction of Jamal Pur police station near Madeji late on Thursday evening.

Nine-year-old Saiqa and eight-year-old Sabira, daughters of Shamsuddin Kehar, and Dilshad, son of Haji Nazar Kehar, were playing near the pond with other children when they slipped into the pond and drowned.

The children’s bodies were taken out from the pond by their relatives and buried in the village graveyard.
