TPL Maps, a local mapping service, has signed an agreement to be Travly services' official navigation partner.

Travly is a local startup providing transportation and logistics service.

“Local startups embracing home-grown technology is a positive sign for the country, and we are pleased to be part of this change,” said Adeel Hashmi, head of TPL Maps.

"We’re excited to collaborate with TPL Maps to enable real-time intelligent routing and turn-by-turn navigation option in our system for effective dispatching," said Shahmir Khan, co-founder & CEO of Travly.

This is TPL Maps' first alignment with a transport hailing service.

Technology incubator Plan9 – which is run by the Punjab Information Technology Board — had brought the two companies together.
