Smeda invites budget proposals

LAHORE: Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) has initiated a consultation process to solicit input for federal budget 2017-18.Smeda CEO Sher Ayub on Saturday said that stakeholders had been asked to send their recommendations by end of this month regarding taxation, tariff, regulatory procedures and any other issue that may limit SME progress.

The received recommendations, he said, would be submitted to the ministries and departments concerned for inclusion in the upcoming budget.
