KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, on Sunday held a walk at the Seaview beach as part of its month-long campaign to commemorate the struggle of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah for the creation of Pakistan.

The paramilitary force has designated December 2016 as the Quaid’s month (Mah-i-Quaid).

In order to commemorate Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s, founder of Pakistan, struggle for an independent homeland, a ‘walk for peace’ was held along the beach.

The walk started from Village Restaurant, which ended at Nishan-i-Pakistan on the Seaview beach.

Director General of Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar was also present on the occasion.

A large number of people belonging to different segments of society took part in the walk to commemorate the heroic struggle of the Father of the Nation.
