Three kidnapped customs officials were set free on Saturday in Balochistan’s Pasni.

Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Tufail Baloch confirmed the recovery of the kidnapped officials. The kidnappers had set the officials free after taking their vehicle.

Earlier on Friday, unidentified gunmen kidnapped three officials of Pakistan Customs from Balochistan’s Gwadar district.

Among those kidnapped was Inspector Abdul Malik, constables Muhammad Yaqoob and Hafeez.

Following the kidnapping, security was tightened at all entry and exit points to aid in the recovery of the kidnapped individuals.

There was no claim of responsibility.
