PAKISTAN is one country that has a huge potential for economic growth. In recent years there has been a marked improvement in Pakistan’s economic prospects. The security situation and law and order have improved significantly. The investment-friendly policies that have been introduced have also contributed in large measures to project Pakistan as the preferred destination for doing business.

However, more measures are needed to make the country’s economy stronger. Domestic producers and manufacturers should be given more incentives to enhance production. Steps also need to be taken to introduce and bolster the image of Pakistani products in the international market, as little has been done in this regard.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a great achievement. Pakistan can certainly become an Asian Tiger if right economic policies are pursued with tenacity.
