Imran’s only agenda is to oust PM Nawaz through unconstitutional means: Hashmi

Veteran politician and former PTI lawmaker Javed Hashmi on Monday described the politics of sit-ins as disaster for Pakistan and alleged Imran Khan of being under the control of foreign powers, DawnNews reported.

Talking to media persons in Multan, Hashmi claimed that the “mere agenda of Imran Khan is to oust the Prime Minister through unconstitutional means”.

“Imran is deviating from his own statement that he would follow the rulings of Supreme Court on Panama issue,” said Hashmi.

The former PTI lawmaker claimed that “the party takes dictation from foreign powers”.

Earlier, the former president of PTI had alleged that former Inter-Services Intelligence chief General Shuja Pasha was the brain behind PTI’s 126-day protest in Islamabad.

Hashmi had claimed that workers had been instructed to drag Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif out of his official residence, while Tahirul Qadri’s workers had been asked to ransack the Parliament with support from PTI.

He had also claimed that Imran Khan had been in regular contact with General Kayani and General Pasha during the protest movement.

Suspended by his party in September 2014 following allegations against Imran Khan, Hashmi had announced his resignation from PTI's presidency and its membership soon afterwards.

At that time Hashmi had said he could no longer continue being member of a party 'conspiring' to dismantle democracy in Pakistan.

I know Hashmi from my university days 1970 when he was JI follower. He is not a leader but an opportunist. Today anyone or any citizen not asking for accountability cannot complain tomorrow that we have corrupt leaders. Democracy requires leaders to answer all allegations to its citizens.

Panamagate would eventually be probed through a commission. Only that commission would be accepted by the Pakistani nation the ToRs of which were presented by all opposition parties. IK's protest movement is to eventually make the govt accept the ToRs presented by all opposition without any changes or editing in it. Nawaz Sharif can and should finish the so called "conspiracy" by IK as described by Javed Hashmi by simply forming a commission based on opposition ToRs. What some politicians call "conspiracy against them" the Pakistani nation calls it "their accountability".

Javed Hashmi is an outdated politician,looking at it's track record simple reflects his U turns. The only politician Imran Khan has courage to face the corrupt politicians,since they indulged in corruption let them face the music. If such corrupt politicians are not stopped from their bad actions they could ruin and bankrupt the nation,through their mega white collar crimes.

Hashmi Sahib is better among most politicians in Pakistan. Except for PTI guys , most people in Pakistan consider him honest and a man of integrity . I wish he had mentioned wich foreign powers, control Khan ? I hope he has some solid evidence. I do not like Imran Kand's policies at all but I will have a hard time calling him a foreign agent. But, he is not a friend of Pakistani people. All he wants is to become the PM of the country at any cost. I hope Supreme court find Nawaz guilty of many things and oust him but not by Dharna!

Imran is the last hope we have in Pakistan. If he fails than God help Pakistan as it will free for all. With due respect to Hashmi why doesn't he stay out politic and enjoy rest of his life instead of supporting looters. Had he not ditched PTI, today he would have been standing shoulder to shoulder with Imran. PM himself is destroying himself because he knows that he is guilty and probably has committed crime. Even if he has not committed any crime, he has been non patriotic Pakistani by investing in UK. To prove everybody wrong he should bring back his wealth to Pakistan, by doing so he can force others to do same.

No working government should be pressurized to change course or dictated about her priorities however ethics of practices should be discussed in Parliament to list ground rules which are difficult to cheat and otherwise circumvent to financial, material or positional gains.Real work data should be there in higher learning institutions for further analysis and refinement of practices.A high level political institute should be there for the practicing politicians where they can understand in depth connotations of different perceived or real problems.Macro and micro nature of the problems should be explained to the working politicians to show what the problem is from different perspectives and its positive and negative side effects. Hard colliding arguments should generally be avoided and compromise and adjustment should be sought where possible.

Maybe the best law that Pakistan can introduce is, no politicians who have ran for elections before 1990 should be allowed to contest elections anymore. These old politicians go to any end in supporting the corrupt. What is Imran Khan or any Pakistani to do? When tax payers money is looted by Nawaz, Zardari and family. Confront them and democrazy becomes endangered.

Mr. Javed Hashmi who spent years in jail during the dictatorship of Musharraf but never yielded to his demands. The veteran politician is a true patriot who always put the democracy and the interest of the country first and he always tells the truth. This man is absolutely right in describing the events but sadly the general public does not want to hear the truth.

Mr. Javed Hashmi is absolutely wrong, Imran want to get rid of corrupt politicians and hypocrites like him, this is the only way forward for future and there cannot be any democracy without Justice, what about number of people murdered in Lahore by government machinery, equal rights for followers of different religions, very bad scenario, politicians are exploiting democracy for their vested interest--it is only in national interest to eliminate all corrupt elements from political scene.

Dear Javed Hashmi Saheb, would you be kind enough to tell people all about your agenda, is it all about remaining in position of power, or politics of power by changing party loyalty every now and then. You left PML-N because you did not agree with politics of its leadership, and joined PTI. Now, you do not agree with Politics of PTI's leadership. So, in fact forming your own political party should be on your agenda and being its head, you could be in both; position of power and power of politics. Well, there is no bar in forming political party. We have dozens of Political Parties formed in the name of Muslim League; though without knowing the literary meaning of a league! Just add your name to it and it becomes a League! Well, I just would not wish you good luck, rather request you to enroll meas its member; of course without membership fees.
