Film on Qandeel

Published September 25, 2016

Good to know that shooting for a film based on the life of model and social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch has begun.

Oscar-winning Pakistani documentary film-maker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is behind one such project. There’s a need to document the kind of intrepid attitude with which the late Qandeel led her life.

Given Sharmeen OC’s formidable credentials as a documentary maker, it’s expected that she’ll leave no stone unturned to tell her story the way it deserves to be told. Good luck.
