PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has tasked secretary relief department, Ahmad Hanif Orakzai, with monitoring the projects to be chalked out for utilisation of the state assets to generate revenue.

A statement issued here said that the decision was made at a meeting chaired by the CM, which called for efficient planning to use the unutilised government land to increase province’s revenue.

The CM directed heads of the departments for early identification and proper utilisation of the state-owned land for commercial purposes to increase revenues. He also ordered hiring of consultants and constitution of management committees in each department for the purpose. He directed to complete the process until June.

Mr Khattak directed to keep all the process transparent and according to the rules. He also directed for initiating the necessary legislation to make the project workable.
