LAHORE: Islamabad and Sindh have reached the final of PSB Inter-provincial U-17 football championship at city park ground in Gilgit, according to the information received here.

Both Islamanad and Sindh won their matches on penalty kicks with identical margin of 4-3.

In the first semi-final, Islamabad and Balochistan were without goals at the end of scheduled time.

Then they got five penalty shoots, each.

Osama Naeem, Roohullah, Hassan Shereen and Nofil scored for Islamabad while Naveed, Gulzar and Sultan scored for Balochistan.

In the second semi-final, Sindh defeated Gilgit Baltistan 4-3.

In the 29th minute of the first half, Shehryar scored for Sindh but Saqlain Abbas equalised it in the second half.

Then Saeed, Shehryar and Junaid scored one each for the winning team while Shahsawar Murtaza and Asim Shah scored for the losing side.

The final will be played on Tuesday. Gilgit Baltistan will face Balochistan for the third position.
