Two more Afghan 'spies' arrested by CTD KP

PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday claimed to have arrested two spies during a search operation in Peshawar.

The CTD said the spies were Afghan citizens living in Pakistan with fake National Identity Cards. An initial investigation revealed both 'spies' had allegedly been working for a foreign intelligence agency.

An investigation is ongoing, the CTD said, adding that as progress is made, more sensitive information is expected.

The revelation comes a day after six Afghan spies were arrested in Balochistan.

Pakistan and Afghanistan never had a good relationship as far as I can remember. It has hit a new low, and I hope Afghanistan realizes that terror financing inside Pakistan is not a good idea at all.

Send them back to Afghanistan or better still their best friend India. Why have we got the 'contract' (theka) to feed these ungrateful Afghans? I agree with Sarfraz Bugti.

Terror is a tool that works wonders for the lone and nasty super-power doing all its dirty works through it without dirtying its hands. Now, the Afghans must taste the wrath of its neighbor so far ignoring its roguery.

Individuals acts does not represent government. It is easy to buy people these days . Interestingly our Government is hiding the name of the foreign country( The real culprit) that has hired them. Smells like one of our friendly country.

Afghan, Iran, India & US, even Saudia all are working for their own benefits. Stop considering anyone your elder or younger brother. All of them have their own agenda and we need to create our own and work for the benefit of Pakistan. What other proofs need. Pakistan only supportive countries are Turkey and China. Open up mind... its not the time where you feel that other muslim country is a friend of other muslim country... Don't be fools
