PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief Nasir Khan Durrani on Tuesday announced transfers and postings in the police department.

A notification issued from the Central Police Office (CPO) said six superintendents of police (SPs), including four DPOs, had been transferred.

Also, DPO Lower Dir Qasim Ali Khan has been transferred and posted as DPO Bannu, while DPO Lakki Marwat Syed Akbar Ali Shah has been transferred and posted as DPO Lower Dir.

The notification said that SP CTD Mohammad Hassan Iqbal has been transferred and posted as DPO Lakki Marwat while DPO Bannu Gul Afzal Afridi has been asked to report to CPO.

Another notification said that SP Mohammad Hussain awaiting posting in CPO has been transferred as SP Special Branch and SP traffic Peshawar Abdul Aziz Afridi as deputy commandant Frontier Reserve Police with immediate effect.

Besides, it said that 13 deputy superintendents of police and four inspectors had also been transferred.
