ISLAMABAD: A minute of silence was observed at the Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels to honour victims of Tuesday’s terrorist attacks.

Most activities planned in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations were cancelled because of the blasts in Brussels, in which more than 30 people were killed and scores injured.

Pakistani Ambassador to Belgium, European Union and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Naghmana A. Hashmi performed the flag hoisting ceremony. Messages by President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were read out on the occasion.
