PESHAWAR: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday announced the transfer and posting of 40 senior bureaucrats, including secretaries and deputy commissioners, across the province.

According to a notification issued here, inter-provincial coordination department secretary Abdullah Khan Mehsud (BS-21) was transferred and posted as Hajj, Auqaf and religious affairs department secretary, while Sarhad Development Authority director (finance) Hazrat Masood Mian (BS-20) was made member-I of the Board of Revenue.

Aftab Akbar Durrani (BS-20), awaiting posting, was transferred and posted as the secretary of the industries and commerce department.

Industries and commerce department secretary Sajid Khan (BS-20), who is under suspension due to the Ehtesab Commission investigation against him, was asked to report to the establishment department.

Secretary of Hajj, Auqaf and religious affairs department Syed Alamgir Shah (BS-20) was made secretary of the labour department against vacant post.

Asmatullah Khan (BS-20), who awaited posting, was made secretary of the inter-provincial coordination department and special secretary of the local government and rural development department Asghar Ali (BS-20) the KP Text Book Board chairman against vacant posts.

Another notification said additional secretary of the home and tribal affairs department Arshad Khan (BS-19), who is also under suspension due to the NAB investigation against him, had been asked to report to the establishment department.

Chitral deputy commissioner Aminul Haq (BS-19) was transferred and posted as director at the civil defence department against a vacant post, while secretary of the Local Council Board Ghulam Mohammad (BS-19) was made project director of the Land Computerisation Phase-II in Board of Revenue on deputation against a vacant post.

Shahidullah (BS-18), who served as Mardan DC, was transferred and posted as additional secretary of the home and tribal affairs department.

Bannu DC Mohammad Ayaz (BS-18) was made chief economist at the planning and development department against a vacant post and sports director Mian Adil Iqbal (BS-18) Bannu DC in his own pay and scale.

Karak DC Shoaib Khan Jadoon (BS-18) was transferred and posted as director (admin) at the excise and taxation department, director admin at the excise and taxation department Tahir Zafar Abbasi (BS-18) as Charsadda DC in his own pay and scale.

Upper Dir DC Imran Hamid (BS-18) was transferred and posted as Mardan DC in his own pay and scale, while additional DC of Peshawar Osama Ahmad (BS-18) was made Chitral DC.

Charsadda DC Fazl Rehman (BS-18) was posted as additional commissioner Malakand and Tank DC Ahmad Khan Dera Ismail Khan additional commissioner.

Lakki Marwat DC Ihsanullah (BS-18) was made deputy secretary (regulation-II) in establishment and administration department against vacant post.

Likewise, deputy coordinator of Reforms Implementation Cell at the chief secretary office Mohammad Bakhtiar Khan (BS-18) was transferred and posted as the Lakki Marwat DC.

Deputy secretary (cabinet) of the administration department Syed Zafar Ali Shah (BS-18) was transferred and posted as the Local Council Board secretary and additional Tank DC Habibullah Wazir (BS-18) as Tank DC in his own pay and scale.

Mohammad Usman (BS-18) awaiting posting was made deputy secretary of the finance department against vacant post, while assistant commissioner Ghazi, Haripur, Mohammad Awais (BS-18) was repatriated to the federal government. AC Bannu Aurangzeb Haider Khan (BS-18) was transferred and posted as director (relief) at the PDMA.

Oghi AC Shahrukh Ali (BS-18) was appointed Mansehra ADC against vacant post and Balakot AC Shahid Mehmood (BS-18) director (reconstruction) at the PDMA.

In addition, transfer and posting of 12 assistant commissioners (BS-17) were also announced.
