PESHAWAR: The regional tax office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue has attached the bank accounts of Peshawar Electric Supply Company and recovered Rs1.09 billion from them.

According to a statement issued here, the regional tax office, Peshawar, has achieved its monthly target of Rs5.4 billion as well as the first quarter’s target of Rs11.4 billion.

It was stated that the RTO was assigned record target of Rs5.47 billion for the first quarter. RTO Peshawar, it said, was one of the few field formations of FBR that could achieve the assigned target.

The chief commissioner of RTO has attributed the good performance to the hard work of the relevant staff members.
