Garbage dump

Published August 28, 2015

IN matters of cleanliness, Karachi Municipal Corporation’s negligence can be seen everywhere. Filthy roads, overflowing sewerage and lack of maintenance have multiplied. Lanes are dirty and roads have turned into garbage dumps. Garbage can be seen spread on almost every road and street. Wherever you go, a feeling of disgust greets you.

Most overhead bridges have not been cleaned ever since they were built, which makes the environment even dirtier.

All this emphasises the need for holding local bodies’ election so that Karachi can be run by its electric sons. The sooner it is held, the better it would be.Any further delay in holding LB polls will make the city more dirty.
