Here is as intriguing a nugget of info as the actress Vidya Balan herself is. She never ceases to amaze you and therefore is these days in the news for assuming the role of the legendary Charlie Chaplin for a cover of a known Indian magazine.

What’s more interesting is that a director R Sarath has approached her to play the character of Mr Chaplin in one of his forthcoming films. Vidya B hasn’t yet responded to the offer, but given her propensity for unconventional roles, she might nod in the affirmative.

Methinks her Charlie Chaplin would be a tad sadder and ... plumper.
