ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal and Farhan Zaman departed for Australia on Thursday to represent the country in Victorian Open and Australian Open PSA International events, starting on July 26 and Aug 3, respectively.

The Victorian Open will feature graded events for players of all abilities to compete alongside the professionals. On the other hand, the Australian Open, PSA International event will make its first appearance on the PSA World Tour since 2012 when it gets underway with some high-profile names ready to battle for the title.

“Nasir and Farhan left today while Tayyab Aslam who left with the junior team on Wednesday will later on join the senior team,” said a spokesman for the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF).
