QUETTA: An official of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) was found dead at his apartment in Jinnah Town area here on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Rauf Jamaldini. He worked for the NGO as a coordinator and lived alone at his home.

According to police, the body had “multiple knife wounds”.

He belonged to Noshki area of Chagai district.

The corpse was shifted to the Civil Hospital for autopsy.

“Police questioned some employees of the NGO where Mr Jamaldini had been working for the past many years,” the sources said.

Police registered a case and began investigations.

The name of the NGO was not disclosed by the investigators.
