KARACHI: A fine unbeaten 72 by opener Ammar Hassan and deadly bowling by leg-spinner Shahzaib Khan who captured three wickets for just 20 runs helped Pakistan Cricket Club beat Paposh Nagar Cricket Club by nine wickets in the opening match of the KCCA Zone VI Daud Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament at RLCA Ground in Gulberg.

Batting first Paposh Nagar CC were all out for 113 in 30 overs. Only Naeem Khan (29), Sajid Ali (26) batted with confidence.

In reply Pakistan Cricket Club achieved the victory target of 114 for the loss of just one wicket in 10.5 overs with Ammar Hassan making a fluent 72 not out and Muhammad Afzal unbeaten on 22.
