QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) personnel claimed on Tuesday to have arrested four suspects involved in the Sunday night attack on the convoy of President Mamnoon Hussain's son in Balochistan's industrial city of Hub.

Abdul Wasay, spokesman of Frontier Corps, told DawnNews that security forces and other agencies conducted a raid in Ramzan Goth area of Hub town and picked up four suspects.

He said the arrested men were involved in attacks near Hub.

"There is evidence of their involvement in the attack on the convoy of President Mamnoon Hussain's son," Wasey said, adding that the arrested men are being interrogated by security personnel.

The FC spokesperson claimed that all the arrested suspects are affiliated with a banned militant outfit.
