THE present educational system is based on the principle of earning money only so as to fill the coffers of the owners of schools, colleges, universities and coaching centres.
In private universities, the same lecturer teaches, sets question papers, checks them and prepares the results. The result is that a resourceful or strong group of students gets favourable grades while the others get low grades.
There should be a separate board of examinations for all private universities for conducting examinations and announcing results after answer copies have been checked by various professors of private universities.
It is hoped that each student would make more effort to study his/her subjects without putting any sort of pressure on their teachers/lecturers.
