LAHORE: Leg-spinner Yasir Shah has been ruled out of the upcoming three One-day Internationals series against Bangladesh after getting injured in a practice match against Bangladesh Cricket Board-XI, which Pakistan lost to one wicket at Fataullah Stadium on Wednesday.

Though the press-release issued by the PCB did not mention any replacement for Yasir, who received two stitches, it is learnt that left-arm orthodox spinner Zulfiqar Babar, who is included in the Test side of Pakistan, will be sent to Bangladesh to join the team for the three-match series, starting from Friday with the first ODI at Mirpur.

It is the third change on fitness grounds for the Bangladesh tour as first middle-order batsman Sohaib Maqsood was dropped for an arm fracture and Saad Nasim replaced him.

Then medium-fast bowler Sohail Khan was ousted due to stiff back problem. The selectors, however, elevated Junaid Khan, who was earlier selected for only Test and T20 teams, to be included in the ODI also.

And now Yasir has been ruled out of the ODI series. He is still in the Test team.
